Heather Orr is corporate/startup Of Counsel to Neff Law Firm, lending her considerable expertise to the firm. Heather Orr is an experienced corporate attorney, providing services which include corporate/LLC formation, financing transactions, asset purchase agreements, stock purchase agreements, corporate maintenance, general business law, general contract preparation, employment law services, and more.
Heather also has her own business law firm, HSO Law. Heather Orr was an adjunct law professor at Loyola Law School for three years, where she taught a course entitled “Business Planning and Financing.” Heather Orr is also the author of the recently-published book, “How to Like Being a Lawyer.”
Heather began her legal career at Bryan Cave LLC in Los Angeles, a full-service, international law firm with a wide range of practice areas and offices in 29 cities. While at Bryan Cave, Heather garnered experience in numerous practice areas including commercial litigation, contractual disputes, arbitration, mortgage litigation, franchise litigation, patent litigation and bankruptcy. While at Bryan Cave, Heather also served as the chair of both the Los Angeles Office’s Sustainability Committee and the Los Angeles Office’s Community Involvement Committee, in addition to maintaining an active pro bono practice. In 2009 she was co-founder of the Law Offices of Mandelberg & Orr, where she further expanded her practice to include complex civil rights litigation, consumer protection litigation and transactional legal services.
Heather graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. She received her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University, majoring in Political Science with a minor in Speech Communications.
